We are a West London based maintenance company of 25 + years standing.
We specialise in providing a very high level of customer service for all building maintenance and refurbishment matters for a mix or private, commercial and public sector clients (both technical and non- technical).
Description:
As a works co-coordinator for us you’ll be responsible for a diary of 20-25 maintenance operatives, managing their time effectively ensuring maximum productivity.
You will provide regular updates to our clients with status of works and take follow up action as necessary i.e. Booking further appointments, arranging for materials to be ordered and providing quotations.
You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and assist in the running of the department to maximize customer satisfaction and profit levels.
This is an ideal opportunity to join a growing team, in a well established London based maintenance and construction company.
The desirable candidate will have been a works scheduler / manager with a minimum of 3 years experience, have excellent multi tasking capabilities, an ability to manage their own time well and have a desire to succeed.
Essential Criteria:
• Managerial experience
• experience within the property industry
• Extensive diary management experience
Job Duties:
• Receiving all new job or quote requests, raising them on our bespoke computer system ‘Service Manager’ and organising appointments with our clients based on job type and location
• Responding to queries from clients including chasing for reports or updates from colleagues
• Ordering materials in advance of works taking place when necessary
• Ensuring that all operatives time is fully utilised and travelling kept to a minimum
• Completing daily any follow up actions needed on the ‘works manager’ system, for example chasing materials or booking further appointments.
• Dealing with day to day issues that may arise such as arranging emergency works, re-arranging appointments if needed, no access issues, operative queries
• Raising purchase orders to suppliers
• Dealing with general enquiries received by phone or email.
• Liaising with sub-contractors to arrange works and obtain updates.
• Continuous monitoring of the productivity of operatives, making amendments to the diary when necessary and managing workload.
