Admin and Branch Operations Assistant
You will be prepared to involve yourself in every aspect of a fast paced rapidly growing automotive and industrial business. You will have a 'can-do' attitude and take pride in your work. The ideal candidate is required to carry out a variety of tasks with minimal supervision and to a high standard.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and organisational skills are essential
You possess good I.T skills and are proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Any experience with accounting software such as SAGE will be beneficial.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Support and Operations
Liaise with retail and trade customers on all matters relating to stock, deliveries and orders to include a variety of tasks including:
- Basic bookeeping
- Processing sales orders
- General I.T support via remote login and telephone conversation
- Resolving delivery queries from customers/sales team with the relevant delivery company
- Booking deliveries both within the UK and overseas with external shipping companies
- Liaising with our warehouse on stock
Finance
We will teach you everything you need to do this part of the role. Tasks will include:
- Customer account management
- Entering of supplier invoices
- Sending of invoices and statements to distributors daily and weekly
- Credit Control / Chasing outstanding debtors
Customer Services
- Direct all incoming calls to the relevant person
- Resolve customer problems yourself in a professional manner
Warehouse
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty assisting with warehousing duties / logistics when needed
- Stock checks and general warehouse up keep
Office Management
- Assist in office management duties including monitoring and maintaining office supplies e.g. Stationery, and office organisation
