We are looking for energetic bar supports to join the dynamic team behind Miranda, our dance-til-you-can’t no more, basement of wonders below Ace Hotel, Shoreditch.
The Role…
Working successfully as part of a flexible team, the role is to fix drinks and maintain high quality bar service for our guests. Bartenders and Bar-backs - support and serve, we’re building a team of rabble rousers who will enjoy our venue (Miranda) in all her glory.
As a venue that showcases a wide spectrum of events, both cultural and musical, it is important that you are open-minded and are able to adapt to all situations. You are extremely pro-active and the role requires someone who is willing to go above and beyond to meet the expectations of both Ace Hotel and the promoters that we work with.

You are charismatic and love working with people. You are keen to learn about all kinds of drinks and are full of innovative ideas. You are a quick learner, logical thinker and excel under pressure - you also have great spoken English. You love working in a fast paced environment and work with pride to keep the bar at its highest level of hygiene and presentation. You are proactive and full of energy - even at 3am in the morning!
Live music venue or nightclub bar experience is preferable but we equally like those who know that this is what they want to do. A keen interest in the music industry and knowledge of the East End bar and venue scene is really useful.
Our opening times vary but mainly revolve around gigs that run 7PM - 11PM and club nights that run 10PM - 3AM.
