We are now seeking a talented and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable?Assistant to join our fun and energetic team, so come and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
Job role:
The overall responsibility of the role is to support the Ledger Manager and run the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Credit control
- Calling clients to chase payment to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts
- Chasing deposits prior to events taking place and following up on final payment of final invoices
- Taking payments over the phone
- Maintain and control aged Debtor listing
- Monitoring customer account details
Invoicing
- Updating Sales Revenue and Cash Flow Spreadsheet as invoices are raised and sent out
- Cash management
- Month end support
- General finance support
- Archiving event files and general filing.
- Support in process improvement tasks
- Support tasks when team members on leave
- Answering email and phone queries
- Opening the post
- Ad hoc tasks requested by the CFO and senior management team
