This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fun and busy finance team at a critical and exciting time in Treatwell’s history. You will be responsible for providing support to our management accountants, helping them with the day-to-day operational finance activities.
Here at Treatwell, we are changing the way people book their hair and beauty services. We make booking hair, beauty and spa treatments simple, effortless and fast – around the clock.
Entry requirements:
1. Minimum grade C-A* in five GCSE, including Maths and English (or Functional Skills level 2 in both). You will also have good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft packages.
2. Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.
Training will be delivered on the Accounting advanced level Standards, by White Hat.
Location: (nearest station) Chancery Lane, London The Role
1. Daily management of incoming receipts, updating accounting and database records.
2. Weekly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
3. Ad hoc sales invoice generation, and input on to the system
4. Assist with debtor management and credit control, monitoring of client accounts and chasing by telephone, email and letter
5. Reconciling transactions to statements and correcting any discrepancies
6. Developing relationships with suppliers
7. Maintaining reliable accounting files by entering data accurately and methodically
8. Assisting with inter company postings and reconciliations
9. Ad hoc tasks assisting management accountants and providing holiday cover as necessary
Hours are 9am to 5:30pm
Skills Required:
1. Fluency in English, an additional European language will be a plus
2. Previous experience in dealing with multiple currencies, departments and group entities
3. Been exposed to high volume invoice processing
4. Basic bookkeeping experience, ideally Personal Qualities:
1. A passion for fast-changing environments, where you will thrive with the pace
2. Fantastic attention to detail, and an analytical mindset
