Small expanding bookkeeping practice based in South London, Brixton are currently recruiting for a flexible part-time 22.5 hrs + Bookkeeper with the aim of extending to full time in the near future, to join at an exciting time for a varied role.
Duties will include, entering sales and purchase invoices, reconciling accounts, including bank accounts and nominal/general ledger, petty cash, and VAT returns, entering payroll journals and managing own list of clients, most clients will be in-house, however others will be off-site, administration work as required, maintaining client records accurate and properly filed, maintaining CRM and client records updated, you will be working with Excel, Xero and QuickBooks.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a minimum of 1 year bookkeeping experience in a similar role and be qualified or studying towards ICB /AAT or equivalent. You will be confident in speaking to clients, suppliers and colleagues and able to resolve queries whilst managing your own diary. This role will suit a proven Accounts professional preferably with a managing background or Sales and marketing and with excellent communication skills with an interest in developing their business skills by providing new innovative ideas and contributing towards the business’s success by being a part of it.
