Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world's most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 6 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, Cloudy Bay Seafood Bar, Berry Brothers Wine Bar, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are recruiting a self-motivated Accounts Assistant, who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Job role
- To provide financial, clerical and general administrative services to internal divisions
- To ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts
- Reconciliation of accounts, entering of direct debits onto purchase ledger accounts and nominal ledgers
- Updating Sales Revenue Spreadsheet as invoices are sent out and raised
- Filing invoices, copies of receipts and back up information for Audit purposes
- Monitoring customer account details
- Updating cash flow on a daily basis with receipts and debtor chasing notes
- Ensure Intele file upload and supplier's invoices, raising PO's
- Analysis and preparation of labour cost and COS for reporting purposes
Candidate profile
- Ideally you will have gained previous working experience in accounting/ Finance position within a similar fast paced working environment
- You will possess excellent MS office knowledge
- You will be very organised, demonstrate the relevant numerical skills set and pay attention to detail
- You are at ease with building relationships with internal stakeholders and enjoy working within a team
