The specialist Insurance Company is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
• Maintaining the sales ledger
• Raising invoices, collecting payments from customers and payments allocation
• Maintaining the purchase ledger
• Preparing monthly and interim payment runs
• Dealing with queries
• Control and maintain Petty cash
• Bank Reconciliations
• Ad Hoc duties and any other duties as required
Essential Requirements are:
• Previous experience working in a similar accounting based role
• experience of SAGE line 50 accounts
• Knowledge and experience of accounting principles
• Computer literate, with good knowledge of Excel
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing at all levels
• Display initiative and ability to work on own
• Good interpersonal skills
• Understanding the importance of confidentiality
This role will suit an experienced and ambitious Accounts Assistant that would like to join a growing business.
Candidates must be confident with Excel and Sage experience would prove advantageous.
Offer salaries
£20,000-£23,000 depending on experience- Full Time-Permanent Basic
