Opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA with a general practice background and trained in dealing with the audit and accounts requirements for owner managed businesses.

The audit work will be a small part (30%) of the role and will be a combination of supporting the audit partner but also leading some of the audits and the role will also involve reviewing some of the semi-senior and juniors' work.
Self-confidence when dealing with clients is vital, together with good written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description
• Preparation of accounts from client’s prime records and accounting software.
• Producing financial statements, including Income Tax and Corporation Tax Computation.
• Assisting with Audits as required, and ultimately leading audits.
• Dealing with clients directly
• Managing a portfolio of clients.

Candidate Qualities
• ACCA or ACA qualified.
• Dealing with client queries and liaising with clients.
• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
• Knowledge of Sage essential.
• Knowledge of IRIS and IRIS Open Audit software useful.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Supervisory experience of semi senior and junior.
