Company overview:
We are a group of companies based in Marylebone and we are looking for an accountant to join our friendly team. Our main business is manufacturing, selling and/or managing mobile homes, holiday homes and some residential property. We also have an investment side to our business.
Duties include:
- day to day entries to accounting software - SAGE
- logging and paying invoices
- paying subcontractors and employees
- reconciliations (all balance sheet items)
- VAT returns
- draft management accounts
- maintaining ledger of costings
- liaising with councils and reconciliation of rents received
- financial reporting
We are looking for an individual who has all around accounts experience - at least 2-3 years in managing accounts from start to trial balance. Working experience with SAGE and Excel are a must and we will not consider candidates who do not have at least 2-3 years experience.
The role reports to the group management accountant.
