Based in our City of London offices, a permanent role has arisen for an Account Manager to join our expanding team.
Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will be tasked with managing a portfolio or existing clients and helping to onboard new clients.
Responsibilities
· Manage the on-boarding of new merchants, including training, implementing marketing initiatives and system configuration
· Ensure that your assigned accounts are transacting fully and to maximum potential within the project time frame
· Conduct review meetings, feeding back performance and other KPI’s to clients, encouraging them to adopt new propositions and driving revenue growth
· Consult on and deliver a suite of professional consulting and implementation services
· Retain and defend clients from competitor approaches by demonstrating our USPs and providing exemplary service
· Report on performance of each account at set intervals and formulate action plans for underperforming merchants
· Liaise internally with marketing, finance and development teams to ensure clients’ needs are met
· Liaise externally with our partner lenders to ensure maximum conversion rates, support and deliver of project plans
· Provide creative solutions to client issues that are beneficial for all parties
· Become a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to merchants and lenders
· Maintain client records in Salesforce and our internal systems
· Meet the commercial targets you are assigned
Skills and experience
· Minimum two years of relevant professional experience in account management or similar customer facing role
· Possess a natural, positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
· Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills (written proposals and face to face presentations)
· A natural ability to build and develop relationships with clients
· Proven skills in negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution
· experience creating and delivering training programs
· Ability to lead by example and present a professional image
· Effortless technical skills to enable you to thrive in a complex financial technology environment.
