Essential experience: Supporting a client with complex medical needs.
Start Date: 2nd to 14th of August, shadow shifts available in family home in Kent before flying.

Sam has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy and complex medical needs; he is totally dependent on others to provide his care. He is fed a blended diet and medicated through a Mic- key button and requires suctioning. This role requires a person who is flexible, adaptable and can get ‘Stuck in'. Mum and Dad need a hands on person who is going to help ensure Sam is well cared for and can enjoy his holidays.
The family will provide a three bed self-catering apartment, travel expenses paid and food allowance provided. This opportunity will ideally suit two friends or colleagues with great experience with complex medical care.
