This application is for Abbey Bar in The City of London. The role of a Sales Executive within Novus Leisure is to assist in the delivery of our venue's pre-booked sales business. This is achieved through driving all our bookings, through guest lists, lunches, dinners and area bookings for all social occasions. We do this through a variety of channels including cold and warm calling, networking, using social media, local businesses, as well as receiving calls and emails daily from customers looking to book a space at Abbey Bar. We have an amazing Sales Executive position in this very well-known City venue! This is a great opportunity for anyone who is out going and focused on being a successful sales person in a fantastic, well known company. Abbey Bar based in The City Of London nearby Aldgate/Tower Hill. The venue has a capacity of 650 people spread across two floors, complete with a restaurant and club. The venue is home to the areas latest Thursday Happy Hour and an unmissable monthly pub quiz which we're well known for. The venue offers private hire, room hire, table and guest list reservations for a range of events including corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, quizzes, Christmas parties, birthdays and after work drinks!This role is crucial for the venue's success focusing on proactively driving new sales and business. This role requires you to be able to deliver increased footfall and have a passion for selling with integrity and determination within a team environment. Reporting to: Venue Sales Manager Hours: As required by the needs of the business, Monday - Friday. Full time: approximately. 30 hours per week, increasing to 40 + hours per week over busy periods.Pay: The role is paid hourly and is dependent on experience, GBP8 per hour. Start Date: Immediate Responsibilities: Assist the Sales Manager in growing and maximising pre-booked sales Work to pre-determined targets as set by your Sales Manager, maximising all opportunities to achieve these Answering the phone as well as picking up the phone to call customers selling venue drinks packages, birthday packages, lunch/dinner packages, bar tabs, space for room hires etc. Maximize your personal LinkedIn social media platform, promoting yourself as a face of the venue to sell the venue. Maintain exceptional customer service and provide the highest of standards Continually build and validate a database of contacts via cold calling and inputting data. Assist the operations team as well in the production and delivery of events Setting up ready for operations to take over the delivery of the event Update our CRM system daily with new enquiries and bookings, and perform chase and follow up calls Meet and greet clients acting as the venues representative when conducting a show around and hosting Be creative, resourceful and provide feedback to the Sales ManagerIn Return you will receive: Industry leading rate per hour Excellent incentive schemes Access to an extensive training and development programme Excellent progression opportunities The opportunity to work with a team of amazing, dedicated people with a focus on success!You would have a desk in our large office with a very ambitious, enthusiastic and friendly team who will welcome you with open arms.
