Days and Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:00pm – 6:30pm Friday: 10.00 am to 6.00pm.
Snap are looking for a temporary SEN Nanny for one week to do school pick up and evening hours with Tom, 10, and his 3 year old brother, William. Tom has cerebral palsy and has made amazing progress during the last couple of years. William is an extremely active and communicative little boy.
Tim is gastrostomy fed, and while his verbal communication has improved considerably, he still relies a lot on Makaton. He is mobile, but can require some support when on the stairs, and especially when outside of the home where he can be unstable at times. Whilst Tom’s eyesight appears to be alright, he can be distracted and not look where he is going, so needs to be reminded to avoid bumping into things.
For this week you will spend two evenings with William and three with Tom and support with the school pick up. William’s school is a 15 minute walk from the family home. When collecting Tom you will come home from School in a taxi / Uber (the family will reimburse the SEN Nanny for this). After a drink, Tom will usually play until he has his food through his tube at 4.45pm. He then has a bath and will come back downstairs ready for bed in his pyjamas!
This job will suit a fun and loving SEN Nanny who is able to engage with both boys and work alongside mum and dad when in the family home. This great family is well known to Snap, who have worked with them for many years. This temporary position is available while their full time SEN Nanny is away for one week.
