Busy family home seeking a enthusiastic, pro-active and experienced Live-out/in Nanny/Family PA to
care for their two sons, 5 and 10 years old, (one child has a serious nut allergy) at their home in Belsize Park and school holidays spent in Toulouse SW France.
Daily Duties
Before school helping organise the kid’s day, making packed lunch. Getting uniform and school bags ready. Doing school run.
After school the job is collecting kids from school, doing homework with them.
Taking to and hosting playdates, plus football practice.
Preparing meals (share this role with housekeeper).
Supervising homework, 11 + invigilating and checking homework. Supervising music practice.
While kids are at school, the family assistant work includes tasks such as organising, uniform,
school kit, liaising with school and renewing kids clubs and activities, kids parties.
Cleaning and tidying kids rooms.
Household errands i.e. The post office, hardware store, supermarket, bookshop.
Being able to liaise with tradesmen.
Interacting with other staff in a professional and friendly manner.
During school holidays role is more traditional nannying.
Family have a farm in SW France nr Toulouse. The house is a working farm and has English staff, so is a sociable place.
Applicant would need to expect to be in France for 1-2 weeks Christmas and Easter school holidays and for 4-5 weeks in August.
Requirements:
At least three years' experience working within a busy family home.
Confident London Driver.
Needs to be a sporty active person. Happy to play football with the kids in the park or garden.
Have an up to date DBS or in process
Possess a Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Valid British/EU Passport
First Class References
