Role Overview
Due to the success of our team, we continue to grow as a business and take on more exciting customers and projects all of the time. To support that growth, we need you to take up the challenge and join us as a part time First Line Engineer. In this role, you will learn a tremendous amount as you get to work with some really experienced and knowledgeable people on leading technology platforms implemented by a variety of customers, many of whom are leading brands in their respective industries.
To set yourself apart, you will need to have some IT knowledge and show a keen interest in technology, in addition to being a confident, reliable and enthusiastic person who appreciates what great customer service is all about. You will also need to have a polite and professional manner, demonstrate great attention to detail and enjoy working on the phone.
You may still be a student looking to gain valuable experience in the IT field, or you may be a new graduate with some experience that you want to solidify before taking on your next role. We are firm believers in promoting internally, so this could be a superb stepping stone as you look to progress.
The person fulfilling this role will be an ambassador for the company, our customers and the team.

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer experience at all times.
Respond efficiently to support requests arriving from all channels.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Accurately maintain and update the Help Desk System.
Escalate as and when required using internal guidelines.
Conduct personal queue and ticket triage
Ensure all alerts from our proactive tools are actioned within the agreed SLAs.
Undertake any other duties as requested by the Help Desk Manager, Operations Director or Managing Partners.
Attend meetings as required
Key Skills:
Excellent telephone communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Technical:
Technical understanding of most of the following:
Windows 7 and 10
Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange
Office 365
Desired experience
Customer service experience
Previous experience with an IT support company will be advantageous, though PC knowledge based on experience with own PC will suffice.
