1st 2nd Line IT Support Consultant

We are looking for a 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Consultant who is certified, skilled and experienced with excellent troubleshooting skills to provide IT support to clients, assisting them with hardware and software problems via phone, email, remote access and onsite visits.
JOB TYPE: Permanent - Full Time
STARTING PAY: £20800 per annum
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours a week during our business hours (Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 7:00pm)
LOCATION: West Ealing, West London
JOB ROLE:
You will be responsible for management, maintenance and support of 10 to 15 clients, each with 5 to 50 users.
To Implement, maintain and proactively support our client’s network, server and desktop infrastructure.
To provide 1st / 2nd line support to clients, assisting them with hardware and software problems via phone, email, remote access and onsite visits.
To ensure accurate logging of issues via our help desk system and to ensure suitable solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.
Resolving computer and network problems, set up new equipment and manage office moves.
Develop excellent relationship with current clients, identify client needs and propose solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
PERSONALITY: Punctual, reliable, honest, hardworking and organized person with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
CERTIFICATIONS: You need to have some certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft and Cisco such as A +, Network +, CCNA, MCITP, MCSA or working towards achieving these.
EDUCATION: A Computing Degree will be preferred.
SKILLS: Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Workstation and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, DHCP, DNS, VPN, routers, internet setup, emails setup, wireless setup, printer setup, knowledge of backup and security products.
Some understanding of Apple Mac, Apple, Android and Blackberry mobile devices.
Some understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and content management systems such as Word Press and Joomla.
experience: experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment in a 1st / 2nd line role as you will be expected to be up and running, providing support to customers as soon as you start working.
If you have full UK driving licence, that will be an advantage.
