Tutors in civil engineering
IMMEDIATELY required experienced Visiting Tutors & Home-Based Tutors for BTEC HND, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
Preference will be given to presently practising tutors/lecturers in public-sector institutions.
Tutors are required for the following course modules:
Fluid Mechanics,
Structural Analysis
Science & Materials &
Site Surveying
Analytical Methods for Engineers
Health & Safety
Building Construction
Design Principles & Applications
Estimating & Tendering
Autocad Design
Main Duties:
Tutoring , Setting up coursework assignments, Marking Coursework assignments, Online Course consultation, preparation of course instructional notes and Project supervision.
REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS:
(a) Five years teaching experience at BTEC HNC/HND , undergraduate & postgraduate Levels or equivalent.
(b) Good knowledge of IT & Virtual Learning Environment (VLE),
(c )Minimum qualification of Bachelors'/Masters' degree or equivalent professional awards in relevant subject areas (Civil Engineering/Building & Construction/Mechanical Engineering/ Engineering Science/Applied Physics/ Mathematical Sciences, etc.)
(d) Excellent English communication skill
(e) Candidate MUST submit past assignment briefs & respective model answers for evaluation (Essential fo Home-Based Tutors position)
REMUNERATION:
For Visiting Tutors: GBP25-GBP40 per hour, depending on qualification & experience.
For Home-Based Tutors: Negotiable, depending on qualification & experience.
TERMS:
3-9 month contract, with possible renewal
