OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - BEXLEY
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and flexible team player to join our Bexley Contract as an Operations Supervisor.
VINCI Park is Europe's leading parking Services Company, a subsidiary of international construction and concessions specialist VINCI. We provide parking and traffic management services to public and private sector clients across the UK.
You will be responsible for the daily supervision of a team of Civil Enforcement Officers and ensure the objectives and requirements of the contract are met. This will involve monitoring, motivating, developing and supervising the performance of the team.
You will also be required to cover for the Assistant Contract Manager in their absence and carry out On Street Enforcement when required.
Ideally, you will possess experience of working in the parking industry and good knowledge of the 1991 Road Traffic Regulations Act. Basic IT skills including knowledge and experience of using the Microsoft Office package is required as you will need to complete general office documentation using Word and Excel.
You will be reliable and have excellent communications skills. You are able to work on your own initiative but also enjoy being part of a large team.
You have effective communication skills, good supervisory skills, the ability to deal with stressful situations and able to follow procedures and guidelines. You are able to make decisions on your own and stay calm under pressure.
Reporting to the Assistant Contract Manager, working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Saturday, working 5 days out of 6. Full local training and uniform will be provided and all applicants will have to undergo police vetting.
A full driving licence is essential.
