This client is one of Europe's leading firms in their sector and has offices all over Europe and the UK .
They currently have a role available for someone with a strong analytical background ( Business planning ; KPI ; strategic analysis of results and reporting etc)
The UK finance HQ is in London and we require an articulate and analytical management accountant ( who is studing CIMA) and has excellent budget , analysis , and forecasting skills.
This is an excellent opportunity as we believe there will be supervisory and management role for you to grow into within 2 years.
In return for such an excellennt chance to head up a team within 2 years you must have excellent analytial skills with advanced knowledge of EXCEL ( Pivots , V lookups , Macros )
* Preparation, consolidation and reporting of annual budget, quarterly forecasts and 3 year plan.
Reporting, control and analysis of monthly management results.
* Reporting and presentation of business unit results. Investigation of significant variances to budget and forecasts.
* Financial appraisal of significant Capital Investment projects and management and reporting of Capital Expenditure
* Conduct and reporting on internal financial and administrative audits.
* Provision of support and assistance to depot operations and senior management involving visits to the sites.
* Provision of training workshops in administrative systems and accounting principles.
* Ad hoc project work i.e. profitability analysis of customers.

* Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
* Studying CIMA.
* Experience in an audit environment would be beneficial.
* 2 – 3 years previous experience, with analytical emphasis
* Good IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and experience with database management tools, such as Microsoft Access. Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse is desirable, but not essential.
* Able to work to deadlines as part of a busy team.
* Good interpersonal skills.
