Payroll administrator recruitment consultancy central london


Our client, a Recruitment Consultancy based in Central London, have a temp to permanent requirement for a Payroll Administrator to work within a team of eleven and be responsible for processing the weekly timesheets and payroll for all their working temps and contractors.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Collating weekly timesheets for payroll
* Reconciliation of payroll accounts
* Managing expenses
* Completing all relevant documentation for the Inland Revenue (P45's, P46 for employees, Prepare P60's for Year end Returns etc.)
* Collecting all data in order for P11D's to be processed
* Adding new starters, leavers and salary adjustments to the system and excel spreadsheet
* Responsible for payments to third parties i.e. Council tax, PAYE, CSA, NIC etc
* Regularly dealing with queries/complaints from candidates and internal staff
* BACS /CHAPS payments
* Processing and printing payslips
* Systems used: Adapt, Word and Excel
In order to be a successful applicant, our client is looking for the following skills and experience:
* Previous Payroll experience would be beneficial but it is not essential
* Customer Service experience is essential with proven experience of dealing with complaints etc
* Experience of processing large amounts of data would be advantageous
* Used to working within a fast, busy, deadline orientated environment
* Strong communication skills due to the regular dealings with both candidates and internal staff
* Experience with Adapt payroll system would be helpful or a similar payroll system
* Intermediate Word and Excel
* Ability to work well under pressure and have strong time management skills
