Structural cad technician
Structural AutoCad wanted for large scale pharmaceutical facilities and also some retail and commercial developments.
We are looking for a high calibre contract structural CAD technician with strong steelwork/RC detailing skills.
A minimum 5 years experience as a CAD draughtsman for a structural engineering consultancy.
Experienced in production of GAs and detailed drawings for structural steelwork, concrete (including rc detailing) and masonry using AutoCAD 2005 or later.
Have good basic understanding of building construction together with good communication skills. The candidate will be expected to be self-motivated and commercially aware and prepared to work to agreed programmes for the production of drawings. The candidate must be prepared to take responsibility for their own work and 'ownership' of the drawings produced.
Examples of the drawings produced by the candidate in the various construction materials must be provided at the interview. Experience working in 3D AutoCAD also preferred.
The office is between Godalming and Farnham and not reachable by public transport, so you'd need a car. Parking is available on site, and the office has it's own canteen where hot and cold food is available.
