Head of rural machinery and engineering

A large college based in East Sussex is currently seeking to recruit a Head of Machinery.
The successful applicant will lead and motivate the team of staff responsible for delivery of programmes in Machinery and machinery related subjects.
Duties-
1. To annually discuss delegated budgets
2. To act as specialist in the Rural Machinery vocational area
3. To seek opportunities for generating increased income
4. Carry out regular lesson observations and staff appraisals
5. Maintain close links with industry, including work experience providers and employers
6. Undertake the role of Internal Verifier
7. Produce staff development plans
