The Office Manager role based our client in Ealing is a wide and varied position. You will be involved with various parts of the business and be able to suggest ideas, implement plans and motivate other parts of the business to reach a common goal. You'll work very closely with the Directors to create a cohesive working environment to drive the business forward; therefore you'll look at many issues in the business to offer advice and assistance. For example, they will always look at ways to improve stock control procedures as well as developing new and current customer relations to provide the ultimate solution to the customer.
The position will require a hands-on, dedicated and practical type of person. The team enjoy what they do and want to work hard for the business as will the new Office Manager. It's definitely a position that will be of interest to people that want to apply their skills, knowledge, passion and drive to an already successful business. You will have some prior knowledge of operations and Office Management and ideally worked closely with or for a Senior Management Team.
The business has been established for over 70 years and is still expanding! Over the last 12 months alone they have grown by 50% and it now has an enviable 30-35% market share of the London market. This has been achieved with a true 'hands on approach' to its business and this will certainly be needed from the Office Manager when you join.
