Position Description
We are looking for a highly competent Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of an exciting new restaurant opening in Bristol International Airport !
You will be working as part of a team to deliver high quality food in a timely manner, presented professionally and to set specifications when required. Your input will also be valued on deciding the daily specials, where you can be more creative and take advantage of local product offers.
You will be supporting the Head Chef and helping develop more junior members of the team by passing on your experience. As it is based in an airport, the hours are different to that on the high street, so this would suit someone who is able to work shifts, as the unit is operational from 3am until 11pm. Your 'working week' would be 40 hours worked across any 5 days from 7.
Required Experience
To be successful in this role you will need previous experience within a similar environment - preferably within a high street chain of branded restaurants.
You must be able to demonstrate culinary expertise and great presentation skills.
With your background in food, you will also have a full working understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures, preferably with relevant & valid certification.
