Service engineer
Our client specialises in the design, build, maintenance and ongoing management of IT rooms, server rooms and data centres. Their work encompasses new builds as well as the refurbishment and upgrade of live spaces. They are looking for a service engineer who will focus on the support of their customers UPS, battery and electrical systems. Main key focuses are providing technical support to customers, in house systems testing, on site repair 'troubleshooting' and service engineer support and response to emergency call outs (service phone rota).
You will need relevant hands on service engineer experience with a knowledge of UPS systems essential. Relevant electrical qualifications will be required ie city and guilds, HNC, ONC and you will need the ability to liaise with people at all levels both internal and external. They are looking for a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills who is extremely organised and pays attention to detail.
