Management accountant part time gbp35k
Our client is one of the UK's largest independent publishing houses. Based in the City of London they are currently looking for a Management Accountant for 3 days a week. The role will include
q To ensure that financial information in the form of management accounts and forecasts is produced according to agreed timescales.
q To ensure clients are invoiced for Development Costs of their magazine on the timescale as per their contract.
q To agree monthly revenues and paginations with Ad Managers for all titles.
q To complete VAT returns quarterly
q To reconcile control accounts
q To ensure that recharges to third parties are accurately made and in good time
q To produce Revenue Statement
q To assist with, prepare & consolidate end of year audit
q To produce revenue and cost statistics as and when required
q To assist in preparation of budgets and reforecasts
Success Indicators:
q Financial information is produced accurately and according to the agreed deadlines.
q VAT Returns completed and no penalties incurred
q Year end completed and auditors sign off accounts
Person Specification:
q Excellent knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
q Excellent knowledge of standard accounting systems and internal controls.
q Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
q Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
q Ability to manage time effectively
