Senior Web Developer needed for a leading Retail Company Ous
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Developer in a leading London based Retail Company. Candidates must have 5-10 years experience “in house” you will develop new web applications, rewrite, redesign and update existing applications. This opportunity will ideally suit somebody with “in house” Retail experience. You will define data dependencies, create flow charts and documentation, write test scripts and implement monitoring systems for applications and users.
Role/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will solely work on all projects; you will be responsible to see the project through from start to finish. You must have an excellent track record in all of the following areas:
* Visual Basic .NET, C#, ASP.NET, C, Java, Delphi, Ruby, Python, Java Script, Html, XHtml 1.0, CSS, XML, AJAX, Flash and Oracle.
* Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Objects Reporting Tools
* Operating System platforms:
Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, Unix and Linux
* IIS (Internet Information Server) - Microsoft Windows Server 2000-2008
* Apache - Unix of Linux
Software Development Models/Methodologies:
* Agile, RAD, Cleanroom, Waterfall, Iterative, RUP, Scrum, Spiral and XP.
The successful candidate will have to provide a presentation and show initiative on how he/she will be able to develop the new site. You must have more than 5years experience and provide examples of previous designs. Excellent communication skills are required.
