A secondary pupil referral unit in East London is looking to recruit a humanities teacher to join the team and teach PSHE and Citizenship. The PRU caters for secondary aged pupils that have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools.
The unit aims to provide a safe, secure environment where young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties can access a broad and varied curriculum. Reintegration is a high priority.
They are looking to appoint a committed and innovative professional who will work with the current experienced team of staff. A curriculum specialist who will bring energy, commitment and above all a positive approach and vision.
