Maths Curriculum Co-Ordinator

Responsibilities:
 To plan and implement the Maths curriculum for all pupils at KS3 and KS4, including appropriate accreditation.
 To ensure that individual and group schemes of work are developed which are effective in meeting national guidelines and the individual needs of the pupils.
 To provide in-service training and guidance in Maths to home tutors attached to the PRU.
 To actively contribute to the development of whole unit policies and practice.
 To maintain knowledge of current developments in Maths by attending in-service courses.
 To attend Borough Head of Maths and KS3 strategy meetings.
 To maintain a comprehensive recording and assessment system that complies with the PRU's reporting procedures.
 To take responsibility for a tutor group of up to 8 pupils if required.
 To act as a line manager for a small group of staff in accordance with the PRU's Performance Management Policy.
 To be committed to the wider pastoral role and safeguarding of the welfare and personal development of all pupils.
