International Credit Controlle -Middle East Asia Division. :
This client is a worldwide media company providing every day media services into your homes and to other large media companies.
In selling their media across the globe , their credit control team is responsible for millions of pounds of debtor's collection in various currencies , but mainly dollars.
This role focuses entirely on the Middle East and parts of Asia and previous international credit control experience is essential .
Details of the role ae as follows
- Reporting directly to the Credit Manager.
- All aspects of credit control including chasing live accounts on a daily basis, via telephone, letter, fax and e-mail.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients. Understanding their operation and determining how best to ensure payment terms are met; with realisation thereof.
- Building and maintaining relationships with sales Managers and operational staff for the Middle East. Regular meetings and telephone/email liason with same; to ensure accounts are maintained to the optimum.
- Maintaining an efficient system of debt chasing, recording and responding to customer queries.
- Resolving invoice and billings issues and referring internally as required for timely resolution.
- Ensuring that client payments are correctly allocated.
- Ensuring that clients adhere to the payment terms and conditions within their contracts.
- Formal monthly debt review with sales manager, operational staff and credit manager.
- Monthly reporting using Vision 6 report writer.
My client is seeking the following qualities in a candidate
* To have a minimum of GCSE/equivalent in English and Maths.
* To be numerate, articulated and pay attention to detail.
* To have good PC skills including knowledge of and significant experience working with spreadsheets.
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a pressurised environment.
* To have excellent interpersonal skills and a mature out look.
* To have experience of working in an accounts environment
Desirable Criteria
* To have accountancy experience in a Broadcast Service environment.
* To have experience of multi-currency work.
* The ability to work in a foreign language.
* A relevant formal qualification.
* Educated to degree level.
