Media Sales Executive:
SPG Media Ltd (www.spgmedia.com ) is a UK based media company with a global reach, providing essential business information to senior executives around the world. We organise over fifty events, publish over twenty-four magazines and host over thirty websites on an annual basis. As the demand for online advertising increases, we are currently seeking five talented Sales Executives to join our successful Online Sales team, where you will be selling advertising space to blue chip companies around the world and working on one of our leading B-2-B portals developing and securing new business advertising opportunities.
All proven sales executives will also have the opportunity to attend at least one major international exhibition covering their industry sector per year as well as other face-to-face client meetings if the opportunity is presented, however majority of the sales is done over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:

* To accurately identify and target the key decision maker within a qualified company and speak professionally and with enthusiasm regarding the product.
* To work with sales management in putting together an appropriate sales proposition and presenting this accurately to decision makers.
* Keep accurate records on file maker and other relevant systems regarding client data and background to ensure appropriate management of client information.
* Provide management reports detailing pipelines, ‘hot' business and expected weekly revenue to managers – providing accurate information.
* To attend relevant summits, events or meetings where appropriate to support the sales process.
* To arrange face-2-face business meetings to present your proposition
* Participate in training and development initiatives.
* Identify own developmental needs and work with HR and management in putting appropriate development plans in place.
* Ensure all targets (personal and company) are regularly met and any problems or issues are identified with an appropriate action plan in place to resolve issues.
* To manage your new client portfolio and up sell at all opportunities.
* To attend at least one international exhibition per year to meet clients, network & promote product portfolio.
WHAT WE OFFER:
* Basic salaries between GBP18000-GBP25000 ( depending on experience)
* OTE GBP35000 in first year, doubling in second year.

We are looking for enthusiastic, articulate and motivated individuals with previous B-2-B sales experience to work on some of our leading products which have strong market positions and clear cross-selling opportunities. You must have at least an A-level education as the role involves a lot of researching.
