A local authority in Essex requires a contract Asset Surveyor to join their ALMO to undertake surveys relating to stock condition of their housing stock. You will need experience to take on surveys relating to stock condition, asbestos, Housing Health and Safety rating, and energy efficiency of the properties. You need to provide accurate stock profile information for the organisation's asset management strategy.
To undertake small one off projects when required including site inspections preparation of tender documents. To prepare estimated costs and manage the project on site as required.
Furthermore you will need to investigate new initiatives within the construction industry such as energy efficiency, sustainability and nontraditional constructions, so somebody with progressive ideas is very welcome.
This is likely to be a 6 months vacancy.
