It Support Analyst Implementation Consultant Trading


Job Role: IT Support Analyst / Implementation Consultant
Location: London (SE1)
Salary: 35k + bonus (20%) + pension + gym + benefits
Ref: GT/534HFA/2602
IT Support Analyst / Implementation Consultant sought by prestigious financial software house to plan, configure and roll out advanced internet trading systems (on Windows platform). Initially you will receive training on their derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed income and equities trading applications providing 2nd and 3rd line support to an extensive client base including major banks and financial organisations. You will then progress to project managing software implementations at client sites (all within London).
Requirements:
* Experience in an Implementation role – preferably on mission critical systems
* Strong fundamental understanding of computing
* Proficient in Windows XP / Vista / Windows 2003 Server
* Networking TCP/IP and / or SQL Server
* Strong degree in science or engineering discipline (2:1 or above)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to build client relationships
* Desirable: previous systems administration, DBA or network administration experience
