Various Positions In One School. September Starts


Remedy Education are seeking a number of teachers for this bright and ever growing college in the suburban surroundings of Central London.
This college have pupils from the young age of 11 up to A level students aged 18. The Ofsted results for 2007 are an amazing 58% with an aim of 68% for 2008. The latest inspection confirmed that previous judgements for this school have been good, and they were delighted that student behaviour and sixth form were deemed to be outstanding.
This is not a complacent school and there next goal is to Achieve Outstanding grades across the board by the time the inspectors return in 2010.
The kind of teacher that they would like to apply for this position would be someone that has a good understanding of their subject, along with a interactive personality that can differentiate between the higher achiever's to the lower achiever's and try to balance the two differs in a pro active way.
They would also like to take on someone who has a bright and bubbly persona, someone who will fit in well with the young team they have already in place.
There are over 120 teachers in the college who have bee there a number of years, as they say work is fun here and its not a drag to come in everyday. The children are well behaved and have a lot of respect for their education.

Please be aware that this school would take on a permanent teacher from Australia and give them 100% support with any training courses and future prospects within the School. They will pay for your QTS (qualified teaching certificate) and help with any permits or promotions that you may require.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Teacher of Technology - Required from April and/or September 2008 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher of Technology to teach across the full age and ability range. You will ideally be able to offer Resistant Materials, Engineering and/or Graphics. The Technology Department offers a friendly environment at the forefront of technological development.
The College provides a high level of support and professional development and can offer a positive, friendly and welcoming working environment. Applications would be especially welcomed from Newly Qualified Teachers or those wishing return to work after a career break or work part-time.
Teacher of Dance/Drama - Required from September 2008 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our Drama Department where extra-curricular activities play an important role. The ability to offer PE would be a distinct advantage. We provide a high level of support and professional development and can offer a positive, friendly and welcoming working environment. Teacher of RS/Citizenship/Life Skills - Required from September 2008 a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our Religious Studies Department within the Humanities Faculty. The ability to teach Citizenship/PSHE/Life Skills would be a distinct advantage. Teacher of English - Required from September 2008 a suitably qualified, talented and enthusiastic teacher of English to join our popular and high performing department. The ability to offer Drama, Media, and Communications would be a distinct advantage. Teacher of Media Studies - Required from September 2008 a suitably qualified, talented and enthusiastic teacher of Media Studies to join our popular and high performing department. We currently offer AS/A2 Media Studies, Film Studies and Communication and Culture and are looking to extend our provision to offer applied Media courses. The ability and willingness to teach a second subject in the department may be may be advantageous but is not a requirement. Teacher of Science - Required for the Summer Term a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of Science. The ability to offer Physics would be a distinct advantage.
