Design and Technology Teacher

Design and Technology teacher required to teach across the 11 to 16 age range including GCSE under the direction of the Head of Department. You need to participate in the development of appropriate schemes of work taking specific responsibilities in some areas. To assess and report on students using NC sub levels in KS3 and GCSE grades in KS4. You will also be required to be a form Tutor to an assigned Tutor Group and to carry out related duties. You shall be expected to meet National Curriculum requirements in Design & Technology. To meet National Strategy requirements in teaching Design and Technology. this position commences in April/September. Applicants must have a PGCE and DFES recognition. They are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to teach all abilities and demonstrate a flexible approach. This school is based in East London with excellent travel links.
