Reports to: Sales Manager
Sales department goal statement:
Striving to provide our customers with the most effective advertising services, delivered by happy motivated professionals, whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer care.
JOB PURPOSE
To sell print or online advertising within the bounds of the rate card as directed by Management to new business leads.
The Company:
My client began trading in 1995 and has since become a leader in the property publication industry. Available in both magazine and internet formats, their publications lists thousands of properties for sale in London and the South East and gives its readers information on new developments within the area. Also, in partnership with carefully selected experts, they offer advice and quotes on products such as mortgages, insurance, conveyancing and removals. You'll also find council tax rates and practical information on every step of the buying and selling process.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To present a supportive, positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the job, the company and your colleagues at all times.
2. To always aim to achieve pre-determined volume and/or personal revenue targets on allocated categories / territories.
3. To participate in strategy discussions regarding the development of the product and to demonstrate the ability to deliver performance on agreed strategies.
4. To maintain, on an ongoing basis, a record of activities and any other records which may be required by the line manager in order to keep up-to-date records of sales and performance.
5. To always provide an efficient and courteous service to customers.
6. To participate in on and off the job training sessions as required.
7. To promptly carry out instructions of line manager.
8. To always meet the call activity / presentation targets as set by your line manager.
9. To ensure that you always process all bookings quickly, accurately and efficiently
10. To always undertake any duties appropriate to the fulfilment and development of the job within the context of the company mission statement and departmental goals by agreement with your line manager.

Minimum of twelve months outbound Telesales experience from a similar environment is required.
