A new Academy in East London have 4 Year groups of 800 pupils (mixed), but will build in three years to a 1200+ 11-18 Academy. They are proving to be very popular, with nearly 1,400 applications for 180 places in next year's intake. OFSTED has described the Academy as outstanding in every respect. The Academy is insistent on high standards of behaviour from its students and high quality teaching from staff.

The Science department is an outstanding area of the Academy's curriculum achieving very good results across the ability range. Indeed, their latest Key Stage 3 scores show that over 90% of pupils achieve Level 5 and above with a large majority achieving a Level 6.
The Science department of 10 teachers work in state-of-the-art laboratories in this brand new Academy.
