Purchasing Assistant

I am currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant. The ideal person will have order processing and stock control experience.
* To be able to suggest order quantities based on sales (monthly) and lead
Times
* To negotiate cost prices pro-actively for new products and constantly monitor and try to improve existing prices
* To improve and develop product range along with the Buying Manager
* To assist in order forecasts on all main product areas
* To take control of various ranges from ordering, planning, production, placing orders, quality control, monitoring factories
* To action and follow up points raised by Product Team for new developments in the range
This is working for a highly sort after company based in Mitcham. Salary GBP16k - GBP18k.
