LOCATION: ‘The Beauty Centre',- St John's Wood, London (5 mins walk from St Johns Wood Station-Jubilee Line)
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
A Vacancy has just become available for a part-time BEAUTY THERAPIST to join our team at our busy St John's Wood Beauty salon. We have been established for over 25 years with an impressive and loyal clientele. This role presents a great opportunity to grow and develop into a senior therapist and become part of out team of professionals.
We are also looking for a NAIL TECHNICIAN who can work on Fridays and Saturdays.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Therapist/Receptionist):
1) Reception duties will include:
- Booking client appointments- using a computer package
- Answer telephone calls
- Greeting clients and starting the most important of the ‘customer experience' process.
- Ensure Salon is maintained to the highest standard
2)Beauty Treatments to be carried out will include, but not limited to,:
- Waxing
- Manicures and pedicures
- Facials
- Massage
- Self Tanning

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Must be motivated, enthusiastic and have good customer rapport.
- Confident with excellent people skills
- Must be friendly and true team player
- NVQ 2 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
- English must be spoken and a valid EU working visa is required.
- Experience in 'DERMALOGICA' and Threading would be an advantage.
