My client is a large media group with offices in the West End of London. We require a person with the last 12-18 months in a solid , commercial Accounts Payable role and a desire to stay in AP - but perhaps in a different company or simply for more money.
Your English must be excellent and you should have good spreadsheet and accounts package skills .
I will be looking at interviewing people - starting today.
Here is the job spec :
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for handling the vendors' cycle for all UK entities:
Ensuring the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all related transactions, balances, monthly closings and reporting as well as the high quality of related master data (non-current assets included) through daily controls and liaison with the business units.
Responsibilities
Invoice Processing
* Capturing of all incoming invoices onto SAP.
* Matching invoices to the purchase orders
* Chasing the business unit or supplier if the PO number is not quoted.
* Booking of related transactions to SAP based on internal guidelines
* Capturing of credit notes to SAP
* FI Validation of all invoices for approval to the relevant business units
* Identification and resolution of invoicing errors
Cash remittance processes
* Generation of payment proposal runs and obtaining authorisation of the run
* Generation of payment runs
* Upload of payment files to banking systems
* Printing and distribution of remittances and cheques
Month end activities
* Validation of all outstanding master data requiring approval
* Supplier Statement reconciliation and follow up as appropriate
* Reconciling creditor accounts to GL, identifying and resolving any issues
* Discuss action taken on debit balances and aged creditors with Senior AP Clerk
