My client is currently undertaking a national recruitment drive to attract experienced professionals into its business. They are active in all sectors of property development; these include retail, housing, commercial, industrial, health and education and leisure. A large element of their work also relates to development input into buildings, which support transport infrastructure, which include airport terminals and railway stations.
Job Specification
This is a leading role within one of my client's core professional disciplines and involves being a leading technical contributor with responsibility for providing direction, advice, mentoring and guidance for others. The role involves managing an important team of technical professionals and includes all people management responsibilities: recruitment and selection, coaching, performance management, organisational decision making. The role is responsible for recommending and assisting in the development of new offerings and making improvements to existing work practices. The position also has important project responsibilities including estimating the business impact of projects, negotiating and managing risk, and interfacing at senior levels with clients.
The role is to lead the team of Structural Designers and Technicians delivering solutions to the property sector. The portfolio of work is diverse both in size, project types and the sector of work throughout the UK.

Education/Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer MIStruct MICE.
Experience:
Relevant post chartership experience
Manage team of individuals and numerous projects simultaneously
Salary and Benefits
GBP45,000+ (depending on experience)
Bounses are optional dependant on the wants of the successful candidate.
