My client are a global energy company based in London and are looking for a Business Services Advisor on an 8 month project.
1. Asses the capabilities of potential outsourcing providers and evaluate and promote outsourcing proposals for Rio Tinto globally, both within Business Services and the wider Group.
2. Evaluate Business Services capital projects and investments (e.g. property appraisals, participation in Quadrem funding). Provide analysis and recommendations to the Global Head of Business Services and obtain endorsement from Business Evaluation where appropriate.
3. Co-ordinate planning for Business Services globally and ensure alignment of Function plans with Business Services/Group objectives and strategy.
4. Ad hoc research and analysis for the Global Head of Business Services and supporting MDs.
5. Prepare reports for senior management, including Board (e.g. Chief Executive's Report), Investment Committee and ExCo (e.g. Report on Operations).
6. Provide focal point for Business Services senior management seeking analysis and guidance for planning and projects.
7. Investigate events in the Business Services sector external environment providing regular concise reports for Business Services' senior management on suppliers and competitors.
The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with excellent communication and negotiation skills and be on a short notice.
