Stock Margin Accountant
This role requires a Qualified Accountant to:
- Prepare & post various month-end adjustments to ensure margin is accurately reported. Adjustments undertaken in Navision General Ledger & Legacy Stock System (Impact);
- Ensure integrity of stock system with general ledger, purchase ledger & other associated systems;
- Ensure interfaces are run according to a timetable ensuring that each system reconciles; and reconcile various stock control accounts.
You will also analyse & investigate branch margins (900 branches) & ensure discrepancies are rectified; prepare board reports on stock days & shrinkage results; manage 3 team members to ensure stock take results are reconciled & posted to the ledgers and manage team members to ensure stock related queries are actioned & resolved. Part of the role also requires you to ensure overriding integrity of stock valuation and provide leadership to the business on stock related projects.
This role is for 6 months and requires an immediate start.
Rate: GBP35 to GBP40 per hour
