The Company
Period Windows Ltd is a family run business specialising in manufacture and installation of bespoke joiner, in particular windows and doors. The company has been operational since 2001 and has enjoyed a steady growth each year.
The Job
To install traditional box sash, casement, dorma and sectional bay windows, French doors and glazed screens.
Works include:-
Removal and disposal of the existing windows.
Installation of new windows [left fully operational].
Site glazing [as necessary].
Making good window surround once installed, patch plaster, architrave, liners etc.
Bay windows
Full installation, site glazing, timber cover latts, architrave and detailed moulding.
French doors
Full installation of frame, handing of doors, glazing fixing ironmongery making good loose brickwork , patch plastering, architrave, liners sills etc.
The Person
Must be professional in approach and work in a methodical manner, must be able solve problems with minimum supervision on site, must be reliable, polite and customer focused. Leave the completed job, clean and tidy all holes filled etc ready for decoration by others.
We provide all components to install the windows and arrange for detailed access scaffolding as required.
Operatives to provide own power and hand tools.
Must have own transport, insurance and be willing to work under our instruction.
General
Projects vary from one window installation to multiple installations.
We will agree a price for each job with payment on the 14th working day after works completed. Generally we envisage up to 7 windows per week.
Operational area Hull and East Riding.
Must be able to speak English.
