This is a chance to work for one of London's most prestigious and bespoke main contractors who operate in a niche market, centred about high-class refurbishments and top quality finishes.
They carry out most of their projects in the most affluent parts of London and specialise in sexing up the most luxurious properties in town.
They are not a huge corporation with a big infrastructure, where members of staff are lost in a hierarchy of employees. They are a relatively small company that values the individuals who work for them. The quality of their work sets them apart from the rest as does their investment in their people.
Their projects are all residential and they welcome people coming from Holloway White Allom, Walter Lilly and Candy and Candy.
The following requirements are essential:
My client needs you to have at least 10 years of experience and a background in refurbishment specifically. Experience in new build is not the same thing!
Good knowledge of programming software will also stand you in good stead.
Of course, you will be rewarded a competitive salary.

· materials ordering and OH&OP; negotiation
· Production of Prelims document for tendering
· Production of Quality contract Programmes which will stand as effective tool for EoT claims.
· Quality structured EoT claims for protection of LAD's and prolongation costs.
· Loss and expense claims based on item above
· Production of standard sub contract documents with back-to-back responsibility to the main contract. LAD's
· Package tendering and negotiation.
· Procurement schedule and IRS.
· Management of sites and co-ordination of works for efficient programming and progress.
· Management of sub contractors – orders programme progress invoicing approval quality control
· Design management and co-ordination with Architect / Engineer / consultants.
· Information management – drawings request / information interpretation and correction / communication to subcontractors.
· Monthly valuations and negotiation.
· Marketing meetings
· Production of Tender documents Programmes / Cost plans / Method statements / tender CSA pricing
· communication of orders and invoicing
· Control of materials purchasing
· Labour resoucing and procurement.
· Employee / employer disciplinary procedures Employment Act 1982
· Employment dispute resolution.
· H&S; management
· H&S; at work act 1974
· CDM regulations 2001 / 2006
