DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
We require an experienced Database Administrator to join their busy development team. Responsible for ensuring that data driven applications run most efficiently and reliably, The role is very much hands-on involving change management and designing the data driven aspects of many new and exciting services as well as the database maintenance and disaster recovery procedures.
The successful candidate will be an organised individual with good communication skills, an eye for detail, a professional "can do" attitude and passion for all things technical.
The role will support the ongoing functions of 7 Digital, often working to tight deadlines and responding to clients ever changing needs.

- 5+ years of applicable SQL Server (inc 2005) hands-on knowledge
- Strong knowledge in database architecture and design
- Expert in handling fast database growth
- Schema design
- Indexing schemes and implementation
- Stored procedure development, PL/SQL, T-SQL
- Backup and Recovery
- Performance tuning
- Transactional and merge replication
- Capacity planning
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
Term: Permanent
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP45,000
