The Position
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you would be responsible for providing high quality housekeeping assistant service to some of the 100 hotel bedrooms and Taunton and Dorset Square flats. The School regards the proper servicing of this accommodation as an essential part of ensuring the School is presented as a World leading facility.
Your normal hours of work are 25 hours per week worked five days out of seven on a shift basis, generally 9am – 2pm. It is a requirement of the post to be flexible and work extra hours as required to cover unpredicted absence and planned holidays. All staff will generally be expected to be available to cover weekends and Bank holidays on a rota basis.
The Individual
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with good general cleaning and housekeeping knowledge. You must be able to safely undertake moderately heavy lifting with a methodical approach to your work. Furthermore you will need to demonstrate a high level of service through a willing, positive and cheerful approach.

The Department
The Facilities department consists of two main teams – Customer Services and Estates. Customer Services is responsible for the front-line London Business School services of hotel reception and switchboard, housekeeping, cleaning, catering, portering and post, office and copying services, travel services and the Fitness Centre. The Estates part of the department is responsible for buildings and maintenance, security and logistical aspects of space and office allocation.

The School's permanent housekeeping team operates 7 days a week throughout the year with short well-publicised closures in the summer and at Christmas.
