We are a West London based Electrical and Custom AV Installation company. We are looking for a full time, permanent member of our staff to head up the electrical division of the company due to the rapid increase in the amount of AV work we currently have. You will be working in close co-ordination with the managing director who currently runs this department.
You will be expected to oversee on average 5/6 major projects at one time ranging from GBP20,000 to GBP200,000 in value. Experience of managing projects of this size is essential. The clients are very exclusive and require a high level of attention at all times. We currently have 10 electricians who will be reporting to you at all times. You will need to supervise these staff members and monitor their hours etc. You will also need to be able to control the profit/loss for these jobs in liaision with the MD and accounts mananger.
We are looking for someone who is very experienced, reliable, honest and a team player. You will be part of the senior management therefore it is essential that you are able to control the other members of staff in your department.
Experience of pricing and tendering is also required as you will be assisting in the initial tendering stage of new projects.
Working hours - 8am/5pm excl 1hr lunch. You will be provided with a company vehicle - but your role will be partly office based at our offices in Chiswick. Salary negotiable depending upon experience. You must have NI number and be willing to be directly employed by the company - no CIS.
