BIRMINGHAM/WATFORD?BASED: EASILY COMMUTABLE FROM LONDON EUSTON OR NORTHAMPTON
One of the country's top ten accountancy firms is currently seeking an experienced Business Development and Marketing Executive to service their Birmingham and Watford offices.
The purpose of this role is to pursue Business Development across the Central region. You will be reporting to the Business Development Manager and work closely with the Regional Marketing Division whilst planning, managing and implementing office marketing strategies.
Consequently, the qualifications and experience they are seeking are as follows:
?A good degree
?CIM Diploma - 'chartered' status or in the process of obtaining this
?A minimum of 5 years experience in marketing to include the full marketing mix, i.e. all main tactical components of a marketing plan - price, place, product and promotion
?At least two years of your marketing experience should have been gained in a professional services firm such as a management consultancy or accountancy practice.
?Some staff management experience
?Previous experience of pitches and proposals
?Personable, articulate and well-presented

Your main purpose in this role is to contribute towards business development and marketing planning for the Birmingham and Watford offices as well as across the region and to ensure that these are conducted effectively to the highest professional level. Further to your involvement in marketing events, your additional responsibilities will include training junior colleagues and direct liaison with partners to motivate their lead generation/processing strategy.

Salary: £40000 per annum + good benefits package
